Why choose the firewalk to raise money?
It’s not a ‘regular’ every day event, and easily attracts sponsorship, mainly because of the nature of the fire – people don’t walk on fire as a hobby, although we think it’s pretty ‘normal’, many people haven’t heard about it.
It’s a great ‘profile’ raiser. As your willing volunteers are being sponsored by family and friends, your charity and cause is being brought to their attention.
It attracts spectators and offers you the opportunity to get your message across to a larger audience.
It’s a fantastic, inspiring and highly motivating event: it’ll be spoken about for years.
Arranging Your Own Charity Event (if you have a marketing department)
If you’re a large charity with a fundraising department, the firewalk is no different to organising a bake sale, jumping out a plane or instigating a marathon.
We can help and support you with the logistics, health and safety, publicity of the event, supporting you to build anticipation and market effectively.

Arranging a Large Event As an Individual (if you don’t have a marketing department)
No problem. Has been done before.
We’ll help you as much as possible, give you marketing tips, ideas to recruiting willing volunteers and help with all the logistics.
To be really honest with you, the biggest fear for individuals arranging a large event is ‘will I be able to carry this off?’, the answer is yes, but be prepared for lots of work at the beginning. Can you ask 4 0r 5 people to help to you?
The reason I’m saying this: it is a lot for one person to undertake on their own.
Attending as An Individual
You can attend any charity event – please take a look at this page and contact the event organiser. Please note though, fundraising will be given to that charity. There may also be an ‘open event’ taking place soon. Again, contact us – we know lots of other Instructors all over the world, we can put the ‘feelers’ out for you and let you know you’re nearest walk happening.
Safety is Our Top Priority
Unlike others, we carry out a risk assessment with you for your event. A firewalk is not ‘unsafe’, however the risk assessment will highlight any areas for concern.
You probably have a huge amount of questions, such as what type of venue do I need, how does it work, how much does it cost, how can I recruit. That’s great, just contact us and ask for our fundrasing information.
